Our team at Ascend Studios delivered an impressive audio-visual upgrade to enhance the experience for guests. We installed over 25 high-quality displays, ensuring that no matter where you sit, you’ll have a perfect view of the action.

To complement the visual setup, we integrated a powerful audio system, featuring 70 speakers and subwoofers. This extensive sound setup creates an immersive atmosphere, whether you’re enjoying a quiet meal or cheering on your favorite team. The sound is crystal clear, covering every corner of the restaurant, including the bar, dining areas, and outdoor spaces.

Our team also installed two fully equipped racks of advanced hardware to control the entire system. This technology allows for easy management of both audio and video content, ensuring that staff can seamlessly switch between games, music, or other media. The setup is user-friendly, offering the flexibility to adjust sound levels and screen content based on the crowd or time of day.

Summary

The LandShark Bar & Grill has a relaxing tropical-themed atmosphere and is one of the best spots to watch a game on Daytona Beach. Our team installed over 25 displays, 70 speakers & subs, and two racks full of advanced hardware to control it all.

The powerful audio system was designed with live music in mind, and it definitely delivers. Performers simply plug in their equipment to the wall input plates and they’re ready to rock out. The system is powered by an advanced digital signal processor, which enables the Landshark team to control the audio source or volume levels in any of the 8 individual audio zones.

The video system was designed with flexibility and ease of use in mind. The Landshark team can send any combination of the 10 video sources to any of the 25 displays, all with a simple tap of a button. Each of the displays are mapped out in an easy-to-use diagram for quick reference. We also included individual control and presets for 8 cable boxes, ensuring that the right channel is always just a button press away.

The entire system is controlled using a our custom branded app on two iPads or one wall-mounted touchpanel. The iPads have magnetic wall-mounted chargers so they’re always ready to go and can be used from anywhere in the restaurant. This enables the Landshark team to hear volume changes as they make them, or look directly at the screens when changing channels. Our custom branded app provides full control of the entire systems and includes tons of presets and automation to make control of the audio and video a breeze.

Our friends at Burns McDonnell, the world’s top engineering firm, tasked us with designing and building an EPIC, State-of-the-art 360 LED video wall room. Consequently, this state-of-the-art space allows them to physically preview all their 3D CAD files and engineering projects. As a result, it provides an immersive experience that significantly enhances collaboration with their teams and clients.

Enhancing Collaboration Beyond VR

Although many companies use VR for CAD file walkthroughs, VR often falls short in terms of real-time discussion. Specifically, it lacks the capability for team members to see where others are focusing or pointing. Therefore, our 360 LED video wall bridges this gap by allowing everyone in the room to view and discuss the designs simultaneously, creating a more interactive and engaging experience. Our 360 LED video wall does allow for everyone to experience their out-of-this-world design but also shows the client why Burns McDonnell is simply the best engineering firm in the world. Collaboration with Igloo Vision

In this groundbreaking project, we partnered with Igloo Vision, whose software suite expertly manages the 3D CAD integrations. Meanwhile, Ascend took charge of all other aspects, including software and media management, hardware design, installation, and implementation. Consequently, this collaboration ensured a seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies.

A Global First – 360 LED video Wall Room

We are proud to announce that this is the world’s first 360 LED video wall room. Furthermore, it is a pioneering achievement, with only one other similar room located in Dubai. Thus, the immersive experience provided by this room is truly mind-blowing and sets a new benchmark in the industry.

Easy Streaming and Control

The system allows the Burns McDonnell team to stream their designs effortlessly from networked computers or through local wireless connections. Additionally, our design includes high-quality K-Array speakers, full-color programmable recessed lighting, and a sophisticated control system. Consequently, team members can easily manage everything using a wall-mounted touch panel or Surface tablet, making the system both intuitive and user-friendly.
