Our team partnered with the St. Rebekah team to modernize their outdated audio-visual system. The goal was to enhance their capabilities and improve functionality. We began by assessing their existing setup, identifying areas that needed improvement. Our analysis revealed significant opportunities to upgrade their technology, ensuring a seamless experience for users.

Next, we designed a comprehensive plan tailored to St. Rebekah’s needs. Our focus was on integrating state-of-the-art audio and visual solutions. We selected high-quality displays to deliver vibrant visuals, making presentations more engaging. Additionally, we installed advanced audio equipment to ensure crystal-clear sound throughout the space.

During the installation process, we worked closely with the St. Rebekah team to minimize disruptions. Our skilled technicians executed the project efficiently, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system. We carefully managed all aspects of the installation, from cabling to equipment setup, to guarantee optimal performance.

Moreover, we implemented user-friendly controls for the audio-visual system. This allows the St. Rebekah team to easily manage presentations and events. Summary

Our team worked with the St. Rebekah team to fully update their outdated system, adding modern capabilities and functionalities.

Our team installed several new high definition displays and upgraded the video distribution hardware, providing every projector or display with an HD video signal.  Our team also replaced the existing projection screens with new ambient light rejecting screens, providing a vivid and clear picture.

Our team designed and programmed three custom branded touchpanel interfaces for the St. Rebekah team to control their system. Two of the touchpanels are iPad based, enabling the St. Rebekah team to adjust the system from anywhere within wifi range.

The touchpanel interfaces enable the St. Rebekah team to easily change the video source for any display or projector as well as turn any display or projector (or projection screen) on or off. Additionally, the St. Rebekah team can adjust the volume levels, audio sources or mic levels throughout the entire church from the touchpanel interface.

Our team also included a full streaming solution, enabling the St. Rebekah team to stream their services live over the internet.

Consequently, this state-of-the-art space allows them to physically preview all their 3D CAD files and engineering projects. As a result, it provides an immersive experience that significantly enhances collaboration with their teams and clients.

    Enhancing Collaboration Beyond VR

    Although many companies use VR for CAD file walkthroughs, VR often falls short in terms of real-time discussion. Specifically, it lacks the capability for team members to see where others are focusing or pointing. Therefore, our 360 LED video wall bridges this gap by allowing everyone in the room to view and discuss the designs simultaneously, creating a more interactive and engaging experience. Our 360 LED video wall does allow for everyone to experience their out-of-this-world design but also shows the client why Burns McDonnell is simply the best engineering firm in the world.     Collaboration with Igloo Vision

    In this groundbreaking project, we partnered with Igloo Vision, whose software suite expertly manages the 3D CAD integrations. Meanwhile, Ascend took charge of all other aspects, including software and media management, hardware design, installation, and implementation. Consequently, this collaboration ensured a seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies.

    A Global First – 360 LED video Wall Room

    We are proud to announce that this is the world’s first 360 LED video wall room. Furthermore, it is a pioneering achievement, with only one other similar room located in Dubai. Thus, the immersive experience provided by this room is truly mind-blowing and sets a new benchmark in the industry.

    Easy Streaming and Control

    The system allows the Burns McDonnell team to stream their designs effortlessly from networked computers or through local wireless connections. Additionally, our design includes high-quality K-Array speakers, full-color programmable recessed lighting, and a sophisticated control system. Consequently, team members can easily manage everything using a wall-mounted touch panel or Surface tablet, making the system both intuitive and user-friendly.
